It ain't feeling like summer...

We woke up to a single digit temperature. And it's supposed to be summer. The sun should be shining, the beer gardens should be full, there should be people all around laughing and having a good time..... But it ain't that way, cause it is rainy and cold...:(

So, what's your today like?? Head on over to Communal Global and share your world with us...

  1. It is hot, hot, hot. I think you are from the United States so you understand Fahrenheit, right? Heat index.....humidity. ......Earlier today it was 112 with the heat index, or as the weatherman said 'the real feel'. It's hot, hot hot.

  5. Sorry that you guys have had so much rain and cooler temps. I feel like I have eaten at one of those restaurants, but most likely not. Eat some schnitzel for me. I love the Bauer Schnitzel the best and querken salat.

  7. Hi May, greetings from Vancouver, Canada.

Lohr is my father's hometown and his family still lives there. I visited there as a child with my parents in the summers of 1971,'76 and '79. It truly is a magical place. I have been looking for a photo of the Lohr online webcam that I like to watch, and finally found one in this post : ) I think that's the webcam on top of the yellow SchneeBacher sign.

The webcam feed can be viewed at:

Thank you for all the great photos and insight.

    Ron
