For the past two weeks we have been hearing about the procession that happens every year at Good Friday in Lohr am Main. This procession each year draws thousands of visitors. Thirteen life size figures mark the way of the cross and are carried by members of the various craftsmen guilds.
So, it was with great gusto that we went to witness this procession. True to what we had heard, the streets were thronged with the old, young, infants, children, even pets!!! The procession was led by altar boys carrying crosses, followed by the band and then the thirteen life size figures!!! I would like to share a few pictures!
